Riding Areas

Riding areas the club has been to with directions to each place from Arkansas:

Mark Twain National Forest (Cassville, MO)   

From 540 go to exit 86. Go east on Hwy 102 to Hwy 62, North out of Rogers. Go approx. 17-18 miles to Gateway, after you go underneath the railroad underpass. Turn left on Hwy 37 to Seligman, MO. Approx. 2 miles north to Seligman Super Stop turn right on Hwy 112. At the intersection of Hwy 37 & 112 go east approx. 6 miles to Scenic Drive. Turn right on dirt road go approx. 3 miles to unloading area on both sides of the road. Remember flags (6' off ground), slow moving vehicle signs on back of ATV (smaller ones available from club for $5) and county sticker (available at The Sprotman's Corner Store north on Hwy 112 just south of Cassville). Tickets for not having these can be very expensive.

Mill Creek (SE of Fayetteville, AR)

Take Hwy 16 mile East out of Fayetteville to Combs, AR. Turn South on the 1st road on the right out of Combs. Go approx. 4 miles or so and there will be unloading areas on both sides. Day use fees are not collected but are accepted.

Keystone Dam (West of Sand Springs, OK below dam)

Take 412 West to Tulsa then I-244 North around Tulsa. Head toward Sand Springs (412 West). About 5 miles West of Sand Springs, OK take Hwy 54 to Keystone Dam Exit. Cross the Dam and take 1st left, then the next left. This will take you to the riding area below the dam. It is called White Water Park.

Appalachia Bay (West of Sand Springs, OK)

From Keystone Dam go back to 412 West. Follow signs to Appalachia Bay. Go to the park and turn left just after the guard shack. This takes you to the riding area.

Little Sahara State Riding Area (Waynoka, OK)

Take Hwy 412 West through Tulsa and Enid. At Hwy 281 just south of WAynoka turn right (North) 11 miles. Park will be on the left.

Chadwick State Riding Area (Chadwick, MO)

Take Hwy 62 North out of Rogers to Hwy 37 North in Gateway. Go North to Hwy 60 in Monett approx. 32 miles. Turn right on Hwy 60. You will pass through Aurora, Marionville and then to Billings. Go 1 block past the stoplight in Billings. Turn right on Hwy 14 go approx. 30 miles to Ozark. At Hwy 65 go South to the next exit. At the exit turn left stay on Hwy 14 go through Sparta. Take turn on Hwy 125 towards Chadwick. Stop at Kay's General Store to get riding pass (you will need year, make, model & vin# of ATV). Go South about 1 mile to Hwy H. Turn right go approx. 2 miles, Watch for signs for Cobb Ridge. Turn right and go approx. 1/4 mile. Turn left into campground.

River Offroad Park (Fort Smith, AR)

This is the Old Twin Cities ATV Park located on Hwy 64 just over the Midland Street bridge on the West side of the Arkansas River. It costs $10 per day to ride at the park.

Syracuse Sands (Syracuse, KS)

New sand dunes in western Kansas. It has 1,300 acres with 65-foot tall hills and a 7.5 mile perimeter. They have 50 acres set aside for fishing & camping. The remaining land will include beginner, children & family areas along with extreme sporting grounds. They only have primitive sites right now but are planning to open in the near future showers, restrooms & modern camping sites. (IF ANYBODY GOES THERE PLEASE LET US KNOW HOW IT IS)
